Day 273

Yay!!!! Ella was able to be bathed tonight, for the first time since Wednesday night! Her hair wasn't as horrible to brush out as I thought and it was nice to cuddle with a little girl that smells like strawberries!

I sure hope she doesn't gross out her teachers and friends at school tomorrow, ha ha ha!!!!

Hunter still wasn't feeling great today and one of his lymph nodes in his neck is swollen again so he stayed in (against his will) and relaxed and played today!  Think the kid has enough Legos?

Day 272

My mom came and watched Ella again this morning so I could go to Hunter's soccer game! Poor little guy wasn't feeling very good but he still played great! He was SO tired though during his game, that is a whole lot of running!

Wiping off sweat.  The weather has been very UNsoccer like, lol.  Meaning it's been very warm and sunny.  Usually soccer is awful, which because his last game isn't until November 8th or something like that I am sure it's coming!

Hunter played goalie the whole 2nd half.  He did pretty darn good!  He has an awesome drop kick!

Here is a close up of Ella's eye today, can you see how lumpy it is?  Gross.

I'm not sure I will ever be able to get a brush though this hair again.  She isn't allowed to be bathed until tomorrow night, nor could I spray anything in her hair.  It's not going to be fun!

Ella took a 3 hour nap today, I'm sure was much needed, but here we sit at 12:22 and she isn't falling asleep.  This is her at dinner, still looking a little sad.

Day 271

Ella's eye looks much better today. She was a bit crabby today but that is understandable! I couldn't get a good pic of her eye...cause she was NOT going to cooperate but it's all red and is really puffy/swollen, it's gross!

Nana came over this afternoon and gave me a break, lol, and brought some cool artsy kinds of projects and snacks and a new stuffed tiger for Ella!

This evening after dinner the kids got an early Halloween gift in the mail from Mimi and Papa.  It was a cool "basket" of different flavors of popcorn and some candy!  Pretty neat gift idea and of course the kids were happy because it's food : )

Day 270

Ella had her eye surgery today. She did really well, but was pretty agitated and in some pain this afternoon/evening. She is resting comfortably now though!

Meanwhile sweet boy went to school and then came home and played outside.  He wanted to make his own laptop.  Cute!!!!

Day 269

Ella had a great day at school today, I love that her teacher is emailing me and letting me know : ) Ella goes in for her 2nd eye surgery tomorrow morning. I'm really hoping it is her last! Here she is eating her after school snack!

Day 268

I got to go on a date to the movies with my sweet sweet boy. Just the two of us : ) We saw ParaNorman, it was cute.

We came home to a spaghetti dinner made by Daddy and Ella!

Day 267

I called to check on Ella's glasses today...since we ordered the new lenses 3 weeks ago. Apparently they had the wrong phone number and they have been in since the 13th.....SUPER ANNOYED. Anyhow, as soon as Ella put her glasses on she screamed "I can see good now!" I am SO happy to be done with the bifocals!!!!

Hunter had a busy day with soccer and Boy Scouts, luckily dad was off and took him. Hooray for me : )  For some reason Hunter said he wanted to make his own lunch for tomorrow....who am I to stop him!!

Day 266

We stayed home today and I did a lot of laundry. That pretty much sums up the day! Hunter of course played outside..love this cute boy!

Ella played babies, kitchen, colored, cupcake game, "helped" me with the laundry and watched Tangled!

Day 265

Today was our Step Up for Down Syndrome walk!!! We had a really good time! The weather was great, the venue was perfect, and all the people with Down syndrome...AWESOME!

The walk was a mile long....Ella probably walked about half of it.

We finally got to meet this family....but the girls had had enough by this point.  At least we got one pic of them smiling : )

We went back to the van and picked up Ella's stroller and then headed to the rest of ValleyFest.

We of course had to stop and check out the old cars!

We had a great day and can't wait till next year!
