Day 120

Hunter's school called today for us to come pick him up, he was complaining of a headache, sore throat, and his stomache hurt and he had a fever. Poor little bug. Hopefully whatever this is goes away quick!

Ella thought she was pretty funny trying to sneak around with Bubba's hat.  Not a flattering picture of her but it made me laugh!!!!

Day 119

We went to the Shriner's Circus today, it was a lot of fun!!!!! It was too dark in the tent to get a good picture of what was in the ring!

Poor kid, I wonder if noise will ever not bother her?????

She held her ears a lot, but smiled through it.....most of the time!

Day 118

Not bad for a picture taken at 11:15 tonight! I totally forgot to take one earlier today and Chris and I went to a dinner and auction for Equine TLC, where the kids ride horses, and my mom watched the kiddos so we got home late!!!!

Day 117

Hunter had his 2nd practice of the baseball season today! He is doing pretty good!!! It was 30 degrees colder than it was at Monday's practice and a bit breezy but at least the sun was out!!!!!!!

Day 116

Today Chris and Ella went to men's night at her school, it's a night for the men in the kids lives to come and build something with the kid and eat pizza! Ella and Chris went 2 years ago and she was so excited to go again!   I sent the camera with Chris.....here is a pic from in the car, and then what they built, it's a heart with a vase in the back.

Today was also my birthday and I had a great day!!!!  My mom and I went and got pedicures and picked out matching polish : )

My mom stopped and bought an assortment of cupcakes.  A pink strawberry banana one for the princess and a smores one for the boy!

They were really sweet and rich : )

Day 115

Here is Hunter in front of our weird stick tree....it's only prettyish for about 2 weeks a year when it blooms. Otherwise, it's ugly! But the boy in front of it is always cute : )

Ella stripped her bear today and she had apparently forgotten that the bear had Hello Kitty underwear because she sure got a good giggle out of it : )

Today was the start of our crazy spring season....baseball practice started tonight!!! This year Hunter will be practicing 3 days a week (jeesh) with Monday's being practice from 5-6:30 and Boy Scouts from 6:30 till 7:30. Hunter looked good out on the field, his batting and throwing have much improved!

Thankfully this Sassy girl stayed at the house with Nana!!!!!

Day 112

Today was a toasty 80 degrees here, (it's about time) and we spent it outside playing!! Hunter and Ella ate their lunch outside together

The kids participated in a water war with the other kids in the neighborhood.

Day 111

We had a fun day today! We went to the Ds Connections Talent Show (Ella ended up dancing on stage with a bunch of other kids,) and played outside for a little bit. Then we left there and our friends came over for dinner and to play!!!

Hunter went to his friend's birthday party and made this mask!

Day 110

Dang it! Blogger has changed the setup to upload pictures...I don't like it! I don't like change!!!!!!!!!! Today Ella had her appointment with the endocrinologist, the good news is that one of her levels has just barely reached the "normal" range but one remains hyperthyroid. Her behavior and focus has been acting very "hyper." The doctor has changed one of her meds again and wished me luck for the next four weeks and said "at least she is really cute." LOL. I say that about a million times a day these days! Anyhow, after school we went to the neighbors birthday party and the kids had fun. Then we left there and headed to our friends house for Ella's friend Xochitl's birthday. Today was her actual birthday but her party is next weekend so we were invited over for cake!

And here is Juanito playing a Disney game with Ella.  Can I just tell you how much I love how sweet he is with Ella.  Here is this big, very old looking, 12 year old and he totally lets Ella boss him all around and is just genuinely sweet to her!

Day 109

Ella actually did great at Girl Scouts tonight! Cutting and glueing is all it took!!!

They made vases for Mother's Day! Yay for a good day!!!!!!!!!

Day 108

The day of not so great photos!!!!

We went to family BINGO night at Hunter's school tonight!! It was pretty fun....as fun as it can be with one child who talks too much and doesn't hear what numbers are being called out because of said talking and one child who for the first 5 minutes just kept putting her beans on any old number she wanted to and then the rest of the time had no intrest in the game and kept knocking into everybody else's cards knocking their beans off.

The kids with their prizes (the cups light up) that were won with mom and dad's cards, lol.A funny Ella story....today at school Ella's class made bird feeders, which consisted of birdseed glued (or some other sticky substance) to a toliet paper roll. It was sent home in a ziplock bag. The bag was sitting on the counter. Sometime, I guess, while we were getting ready for BINGO Ella got into the ziplock bag because when we got home there was bird seed all over the kitchen floor.

Chris : Kacey why is there bird seed all over the floor?
Me : I don't know. Why IS there bird seed all over the floor?
Chris: I'm asking you.
Me : I think you are asking the wrong person. Hey Ella, why is there bird seed on the floor.
Ella: I eat it.
Me : WHAT?
Ella: I open bag eat it.
Me: ELLA bird seed is for BIRDS.
Ella: OH I GET IT, bird seed for birds.
Me: Well where is the bird feeder then?
Ella: In the garbage.
Me: Why did you throw it away?
Ella: Because it tasted lucky. Lucky = Yucky

I just had to laugh and shake my head. Surely whatever they stuck the birdseed to the tp roll with is non-toxic since it was meant for birds....right????

Day 107

It has been a day.....8 minutes to bedtime and it is dragging!!! LOL!

Ella had a blood draw today, after a disastrous dance class. Nuff said.

Day 106

Hunter had to take in a collection to Boy Scouts today. He is collecting these little Lego mini-figures, they are kind of cool, they come in these little foil pack so it is a surprise as to what is in it. Kind of like baseball cards : )
Ella was laying on the floor talking to the pup and just being sweet. She looks so angelic in this pic, lol!!!

Day 105

They just don't come any sweeter or cuter than this boy!!!

I had new nose pads put on Ella's backup pair of glasses in hopes of saving her poor nose. Her glasses are making callouses on the bridge of her poor flat little nose, because we have to position them just right so that they will stay up. So far these new ones aren't doing any different, still leaving red indentions : (
