            After getting a little frustrated with Bubba being stronger than her and doing the exercises better Ella said "Bubba do this!" and did the splits. LOL

Day 302

Daddy forgot his wallet at home today so had to stop by right before Ella headed off to school! Ella loves to see Daddy in his "cop costume" as she calls it. LOL

Speaking of costumes. Hunter got to wear his to Boy Scouts tonight. He is a skeleton prisoner. Whatever that is. And pretty creepy if I do say so myself.

Day 301

During the school year I try really hard to make Sundays our we don't leave the house day! It's the day where I catch up on cleaning and do all the laundry and try to have the kids just relax before the school week kicks off again. I like Sundays! They allow for sweet interatcions between the kiddos. Hunter loves to make roads or parking lots out of papers and drive his cars on them. Today he helped Ella make her own. He tore off pieces of tape and gave them to her to tape her papers today. Then he hand over hand helped her to make her own road. Then he gave her some cars to drive. It makes me so happy when they get along : )

Day 300

Ella had gymnastics this morning....she still loves it!!!

Hunter had soccer....it was cold...but of course he was sweating!

Day 299

Today was spirit day at Ella's school. She is loves to wear her Kindergarten shirt!!

Hunter and I got to go on a Haunted Hike with his Boy Scout group. We had fun, despite it being chilly! It was spoooooooky.....here we are showing you just how scared we were : )

Day 297

Ella was very proud of her puzzle that she did with her occupational therapist today. It is really hard to get those fingers to put the puzzle pieces in the right place! Then we headed to McDonalds for Ella's schools McDonalds fundraiser night. Fun times.

Poor Hunter.  He hurt his finger at school today catching a football, it was pretty swollen and bruised so I took him to the pediatrician's office this evening.  The doctor thinks it is just jammed but gave me a script to get a xray if it isn't better by Friday.  In the meantime she wanted him to wear a splint.

Day 296

I totally forgot to take pics of the kiddos today....so bedtime pictures it is : ) We finally hung up some decorations in Hunter's room!

Day 295

Ella loaded up her back pack today, grabbed her Care Bear and announced she was going to Nana's house for a party. I love that kids imagination!

Tonight at Boy Scouts Hunter made 2 cupcakes.  As we were leaving he asked if he could share one with Sissy.  I love this boy and his kind heart!

Day 294

We took the kids to have their pictures taken today by our friend Stephanie's daughter. We got some cute ones!!! Here are the kiddos when we got home!

But really he is just a sweetie : )  Interesting shadow play, makes his hair look much longer and spikier!

Ella LOVES her headphones....they help block out loud noises!  I feel bad and wish I had got them 5 years ago!

And of course they are PINK : )

Day 293

Ella had her 2nd gymnastics class today...she LOVES it!! She did pretty good today and I paid for the session so looks like we are sticking with it : ) Here she is doing her....um....not sure what it's called but I am impressed with her strenght!

Hunter had a soccer game today...we froze our butts off. It was 49 degrees outside and SUPER windy. Yuck. The boys played good!!!

We went to a hockey game tonight, the Spokane Chiefs. We had an awesome time!!

Day 292

Today is Chris' birthday! I can think of nothing more fun to do than helping your wife in the kitchen, so because it's his birthday I gave him that opportunity. See what a great wife I am, lol!

Remember that 40lbs of apples I got at the farm...today I started the apple butter, with a little less than half of the apples.   This recipe calls for the apples to cook for 48 hours in the crockpot, adding more apples about every 10 hours.

My friend, Jen, let us borrow her awesome apple peeler/corer thing.  It makes this process SO much easier.  Especially when your husband thinks it's cool and does it all for you : )

I, for some crazy reason, decided that for Chris' birthday I would make him an apple pie, from scratch.  Luckily I had my little cooking buddy to help me out!  He cut the apples for me.

And rolled the dough...notice the flour on his sleeve, lol.

I have very fond memories of cooking with my grandparents as a child....so glad he loves to cook with me!

While that was cooking Daddy opened presents.  Ella gave him a hug after every present and every card.

While waiting for the pie to cool we noticed that Ella's tooth was so loose that it was laying down pushing her lip out....gross.  So, daddy helped her get it out!!!!!

Time to sing Happy Birthday!

Thankfully the pie was yummy, I was nervous.  Chris said now I have to make it every year, lol.  I think next year I will buy one and transfer it to my pan, ha ha.
