Day 311

Hunter loves playing First in Math....a game they play at home and the teacher checks in at school to see how they did. Everyday there is a "Player of the Day" and Hunter loves to win : )

Day 310

I told Chris this morning that he was on dinner duty for the night. He decided to make raviolis....he is CRAZY! He did recruit a little helper!

Dinner turned out good.  Thanks boys!!!

While the boys were cooking us girls played....or danced really.  Ella got pretty mad when I pulled out the camera.  I had to capture her look...too funny.   But this is what I got while she screamed "NO PICTURES" at me.

Day 309

Tonight was Boy Scout night! Chris taught a class on fingerprinting to the Bears (Hunter's rank if you will.)

One of the dads asked if he could take Ella....they went ahead of the boys to cook a treat : )

Then the boys came. 

These were called Wigwhams...or something like that.  It's a biscuit dough and they put it over a ball so that when cooked it was like a little cup, then they put vanilla pudding, apple pie filling and whip cream on top.  The kids LOVED it!

I had to stick this one in there...notice the bunny ears : )

Day 308

Hunter volunteered to go with me to a craft show today....of course he found a few things to buy, and I found nothing. LOL Here he is showing off his goods

Day 307

Busy day today! Ella had gymnastics this morning, she still loves it!

Then the kids had a dentist appointment. After that we headed up north for Hunter's last soccer game of the fall season. It was perfect timing, it had been raining all day and then stopped 10 minutes before his game! The team played great today...can't wait for it to start back up in the spring!!

Day 306

Hunter playing outside...November 2nd and he is wearing shorts to play (a bit too cold for me but he was a hot sweaty mess!) He is going to be a sad boy next week after the time changes. It will be dark at 5:00!

Ella and her favorite after school snack, pretzels! I know it's a bit dark but it's the best I got today : )

Day 305

Homework Thursday!!! The kids both get homework packets sent home to work on for the week....Thursdays are always spent finishing up

Ella is now writing sentences......she tells me what she wants to write and I write it on another piece of paper and then she copies it on to her homework.

"I see a baby."  At the bottom is an ABB pattern, she has really picked up on the patterns quickly!
