2013 - May 7th

Tonight was Challenger Baseball night!!!!  Ella had the cutest, sweetest buddy tonight. His name is Riley.  Before they were even matched up, while Ella was warming up, this boy was complimenting her throwing and high fiving her.  He was SO incredibly great with Ella, all smiles and high fives while still getting her to do what she is supposed to be doing. He was the perfect buddy!!!

2013 - May 6th

Tonight was Hunter's crossover ceremony in Cub Scouts. He crossed over from being a Bear to a Weblow...I think : )

2013 - May 5th

It was another gorgeous day today! The kids and I met our friends at the park, and Nana stopped by to play too! While we were there we met an adorable little guy with Down syndrome and his mom. After the park we headed over to the YMCA to go swimming. We were pretty tired when we got home but had a fun day!!! Unfortunately I forgot to take my camera with me today. I took 8 pictures of the kids when we got home and this is the best I got : )

2013 - May 4th

Today was beautiful outside!!!!  Hunter had soccer this morning! They tied 4 to 4!  He played goalie the first half.

After we came home and Hunter helped Daddy spread mulch. Then Hunter and I played a little basketball while Ella napped. Tonight we went over to our friends, the Kibbe's house. Mary made me a yummy birthday dinner and the kids played and played and played!  Needless to say I had very sleepy kids when we got home!

2013 - May 3rd

Today was crazy hair day at Hunter's school.  He wanted to color his hair with his two favorite colors, neon green and black.  After going to 5 hair/beauty places I finally found both colors!  He was quite happy with the result and especially happy that his hair matched his converse shoes : )

Hunter came home from school today and says "A girl gave me her phone number." Umm. Ok. I asked him why he said "she said she likes me and asked me if I like her and I said I guess and she gave me this paper with her number on it. Can I call her?" And talk about WHAT??? He said "I don't know, like recess and stuff." LOL. I told him I think he is a little young for calling girls. He said okay and ran off to play. They are in THIRD grade. Holy moly. And it's one of the sweet quiet girls in his class. I am terrified of the future. 

Ella did great at her sleep study last night, despite falling out of the bed and biting two holes in her tongue. The sleep tech said that Ella did a lot of thrashing around and snoring but that her stats were good. She also said that 3 times Ella sat straight up waved her arms around in the air and then flopped back down on her stomach and started snoring, crazy!  So now they review all the information and give the doctor a report and then I guess we will have a follow up.  Not sure if there is anything they can do if her oxygen is good (which I am glad about) but would really like the poor kid to get a good nights sleep!  Despite being kicked out of the sleep lab at 6am Ella had a great day at school and was in a good mood!!!

2013 - May 2nd

I totally forgot to get a picture of my boy today. Ugh.

Ella started Upward Cheerleading tonight.  She liked it!  I have mixed emotions about it though.

2013 - May 1st

Hunter had his 9 year well check up today with his pediatrician. He is growing good and is a healthy guy....except we now have to try 2 weeks of dairy free for some tummy issues. Hunter is not looking forward to that. He had soccer practice tonight, and he has fun at that. Especially today when they decided to run through the sprinklers, he always has fun when there is water around!!!!

Ella had OT today and she worked on her sea animal project for school with Robin!!  We had the "shells" painted when Robin got here but they did the rest!

Luckily I had some animal book that I had bought for Hunter when he was younger and it had Sea Turtles (which is what Ella picked) we read her the page of facts and let her pick what she wanted to write about.

Her paper says Turtles do not have teeth. Sea turtles eat crab, fish, shrimp, jellyfish and plants.   Awesome! I love that Robin helps Ella with her homework!
