2013 - June 7th

It is SUPER windy here today...so much so that we only lasted about 15 minutes outside because I felt like I had sand caked in my contacts...YUCK! But I did get a few good pics of my kiddos before we came in!

I went on a field trip with Ella and her class today to visit their new school (1st through 5th grade.)  Her teacher was so sweet and made sure that we stopped in and said hi to Hunter in his class even though the 3rd grade wasn't on our tour!  Ella is soooo excited that she gets to go to school with Bubba next year!

Hunter's teacher gave me this sweet flower pot painted in chalkboard paint for volunteering in his class this year!  Super cute!

And Ella's teachers gave me this notepad (there are several of the same paper) that each of the kids in her class signed their name and drew a picture of themselves! Adorable!  You can see Ella's right under the bow!    I am going to miss both of their teaches and the kids in both classes! It has been a great school year!

2013 - June 6th

Not too much to report today...at least not very exciting pictures. Ella and I went and ate lunch at school with Hunter today, so that was fun!  Hunter spent the entire evening/night working on his project for school.

Ella had an appointment with her endocrinologist today, we decided to leave her on her meds for the time being because the doctor isn't sure and her numbers are all very borderline as to whether she is in remission from her Graves Disease.  He said that if she is not and her thyroid goes crazy again that it will be hard to get it under control again, will take time and likely a new plan.  We decided that it is best to leave everything as is for now.  After that she had speech therapy!

2013 - June 5th

This evening after Ella's occupational therapist left (which I am happy to report that Ella had a much better session this week,) the kids and I went for a walk. Well, Hunter rode his scooter and Ella rode in the bike trailer (that I pushed.) Every year I think, this will be the year that I can actually get a workout in when the kids are with me, and every year I realize how much further I can go without them. LOL. "It's hot." "I'm thirsty." "I'm tired." "The sun is too bright." "Can we go throw rocks?" "Can we turn around yet?" I like it to be just me and my IPod much better. Good thing these kids are cute : )

So pretty and relaxing on the trail....well relaxing when the kids aren't there : )

Oh yeah, Ella got her new transition lenses today.  I'm hoping it helps her keep her glasses on outside.  She doesn't like wearing them when it's bright out.  She seemed to tolerate them pretty well today!

2013 - June 4th

My handsome boy!

Ella had her last baseball game tonight. I am sad that it is over!!!

We ran out of kid buddies tonight for Ella so this man was her buddy.  She convinced him to trade hats and gloves : )  Good think he was patient!!!

2013 - June 3rd

It was a beautiful sunny day when I dropped Ella off at school and I told her that we would ride bikes after school. So of course it started raining 10 minutes before I picked her up. Luckily at about 5:30 the sun came out for a little bit and we were able to go out and play! Phew!!!

2013 - June 2nd

Ella got an early birthday present today...her very own "Jeep bike," just like Bubba!!!!

This made for one VERY happy little girl!

It made her feel like a big kid, just like Hunter!

Racing!

This "bike," which is actually a pedal go cart is so awesome for Ella!  Ella rides her bike with training wheels very well but still gets a little tippy when turning and going up and down curbs.....and makes me a little nervous.  But, on this thing she was zipping all over the road, doing quick sharp turns,and going up and down the curb with ease!  It is heavy, but not hard to peddle or steer, and very sturdy!  The seat is has two more positions back so it should last her a long time!!!!!!

2013 - June 1st

Last nights sleep study went well. Ella was so amazing! She left the mask on the whole night...including an hour before she fell asleep!  Here she is before the mask, while they put all the electrodes on.

And the mask! I seriously couldn't believe she left it on!  They kept waking her up and trying different things out on her and she never took it off!

Hunter spent the whole day at his friend Kellen's house and had a blast!!!

Ella got to go to her friend Braden's birthday party at Mobius Children's Museum!  She had a lot of fun!!!!

Apparently I did not get any pictures of her with Braden : (  I was taking pictures with his mom's camera during cake etc....so I forgot to take one with mine!
