2013 - June 6th

Ella was invited to her little friend Eve's birthday party at Jump and Bounce....and because Hunter just so happens to be friends with the big brother, Kellen, he got to come too!!!!

Hunter and Kellen having fun in one of the bounce houses!
This is the only picture of Ella's face that is not blurry....that child had a blast and moved NON STOP!!!!
See what I mean. And this is what she looked like in person too : )
Hunter sliding
Kellen and Hunter playing basketball
Climbing slowed her down a little....but only a little!
The blur
The boys in blue! Elliot, Hunter and Kellen!

2013 - July 5th

This is Ella's 3rd night wearing her new nasal CPAP mask. The good news is that we got the mask on tonight without any tears!!!! The great news is that she has left it on all night for 2 nights! The bad news is the mask leaves red marks all over Ella's face and I don't know what I can do about it. The red marks stay all day....so something has to not be fitting right. Urgh.

You can see when she is sitting up with it on it pulls the skin under her eyes down : (
It is better when she lays down as far as her eyes are concerned....and you can see the littlest hint of a smile here : )

My brave girl. I am so proud of her for tolerating this!!!!
And then there is this handsome guy...he has been so helpful in distracting and comforting Ella while I mess with this stupid mask! Such a big helper!!

2013 - 4th of July!!!

Happy 4th of July!!!!!! We had a very laid back day! The kids and I went swimming with friends at the public pool for 2 hours, came home and hung out and then we went and parked in the parking lot of the baseball stadium and watched fireworks! (Chris worked of course!)

We ended up sitting in the parking lot for over an hour but we entertained ourselves making up songs, telling jokes, and watching the old man cussing out his wife because they couldn't find their car. Fun times. The guy asked if I could drive him around (he was being so mean) and I politely declined. When he left Hunter said I should have told him that I was 15 and can't drive...he said "you really do look 15, especially with no makeup on." Have I told you lately how much I love that boy : ) The fireworks were good, though they lasted 5 minutes, but the kids enjoyed them so it was worth the wait!

Here we are in the back of the van!

Nevermind the no makeup and crazy hair....that's what I look like on a pool day : )
Hunter making some goofy armpit joke :  )
While we were waiting I discovered that my camera has a fireworks setting! Who knew?!
Just kind of looks cool : )
After that we came home and showered. The last couple of nights Hunter has been popping the lenses out of his sunglasses and wearing them as glasses with no lenses, ya know "so I can be like you and Ella!"
He is just so stinking adorable!!!!

2013 - July 3rd

We had a busy day today! Hunter had his guitar lesson, then we headed to the North side of town to pick up a new style CPAP mask for Ella to try, then came home and Ella had speech therapy, and then occupational therapy and then we went to our friends house for dinner!!!!  Dinner was yummy, I enjoyed catching up with my friend and the kids had fun playing, apparently I didn't get very many pictures, just a couple when they were having a water balloon fight!

2013 - July 2nd

We had another day over 100 degrees.....that is extremely hot when you don't have AC in your house! We went swimming at the public pool with Nana and Grandpa again today! The water felt so nice!!! After that we came home and had dinner and then headed outside, because it was pretty unbearable in our house, it felt much better in the shade! Chris made the kids an awesome "carwash", thank you pinterest! We stayed out and played until 10, when we came in it was still 88 degrees in the house. YUCK!

I was trying to get a picture of all the cute little freckles that are popping up on Ella's face!
The best smile ever : )
My handsome boy was in heaven driving all of his bikes through the carwash!

Ella loves it too!
I was so impressed with Ella on Hunter's old Razor scooter....but snapped this pic right as she was falling. She hopped right back up and rode again!
Then she got out the chalk!
Ruby thought the chalk was tasty and Ella thought it was funny when she ran away with it.

Ella taught our 4 year old neighbor how to draw a rainbow.
Ella's on the left and neighbors on the right
She also drew her own hopscotch....so cute!

Today was a fun....hot....day!

2013 - July 1st

Papa went back home this morning : ( We had a great time with him while he was here!!!! Come back soon Papa!

The kids had horse therapy this morning. Ella did good and loved riding on Sugar!

Hunter had a little bit of difficulty....
His first horse didn't want to stop....Hunter had to pull really hard to get him to.

Then he switched horses (not pictured) because one of the other riders was a little scared of the horse she was on....when Hunter got on Copper he simply refused to move. LOL. So Hunter missed over half of his class.  I think the horses were just too hot today!

After riding we ran home for lunch and then headed to the movies to see Monster's University with Nana and Grandpa! Then we took Ruby to the vet....I am starting to think that it is going to cost more money to take her to Georgia with us than it would be to kennel her.
