2013 - September 8th

This morning Ella woke up hoarse and sneezing her head off, I thought for sure we were in for it, but after about an hour she was fine, a little sleepy but otherwise fine. I made her drink a ton today and gave her vitamins and we just hung out at home! Hunter of course spent the day outside!!!!

2013 - Sept 7th

Not a whole lot to report today..Ella slept 14 hours last night, school is really going to wear her out. When she woke up we went to my friend Dacia's for about an hour and a half and hung out. After that we came home and the kids played played played!

Hunter of course spent his day outside!

I think Ella played with just about every toy that she owns!

2013 - September 6th

Today was the 2nd day of school! Both kids had a good day! Hooray!!!

After school today Nana came over and we went out to dinner to celebrate the 1st week (or 2 days, lol) of school!!!  After dinner we did some shopping...mom treated Hunter to some more socks, and Ella got a couple of books!  It was a fun night!!

2013 - September 5th

Today was the first day of school!! Hunter started 4th grade, in Mrs Thompson's class and Ella started 1st grade, in Mrs Sporleader's class! Both kids had a great first day (or at least Ella says she did : ) Ella did tell her teacher that she was to get hot lunch today, despite having no money and having cold lunch in her backpack. LOL. But, if that's the biggest problem she had today we will take it!

Ella was SO excited this morning, she could barely eat her breakfast. She just kept saying "I going 1st grade!"

I know this is a blurry pic, but I love it. Hunter is going to be walking Ella to class every morning and will be picking her up after school and walking her outside to me. There are so many things I love about that, Ella gets to feel more independent because there is no adult involved, their bond is going to get even stronger, and I love the fact that Hunter is responsible enough to do this but I love it even more that he WANTS to walk his sister everyday. Man I love that boy.

We walked Ella to her GENERAL EDUCATION classroom (thank you very much) and she hung her backpack up and sat at her desk like she was told to. This girl was not scared AT ALL for us to leave her at this big school.  Me on the other hand, scared to death. I only cried after we were out of her sight : )

When we got home I ATTEMPTED to do pictures like I did last year.  Why can't my kids just open their freakin eyes outside. Oh well, at least I tried.

2013 - September 4th

What a day! We started off this morning with haircuts.

Hunter's hair was crazy.....(yes I realize this is not a good pic of him, but I swear the kid can NOT open his eyes in the sun!)

He asked the lady to spike his hair...it was very crunchy, but an awesome haircut!

Little Miss Sassy Pants got some sparkles put in her hair...despite her request to have it spiked like her brother.

We had our meeting with the school today, it ended well! Tomorrow is the 1st day of school....I am nervous for Ella but am hoping she does great like she does every year!!!!

2013 - September 3rd

Ella had a doctor's appointment this morning. This afternoon we met Nana at the park and the kids rode their Jeep bikes around, they had fun!!!! Tonight it is early to bed (practicing for school!)

2013 - September 2nd

It was nice and cool today so we played outside!!! Hunter worked on scooter tricks.
