Everybody headed back to school today...hooray!!!!!!! I volunteered all morning in Hunter's class and then at 1:30 took Ella out of school to go get fitted for her hearing aids! Ella did awesome!!! I thought for sure she would freak out when they put the goop in her ears but she proved me wrong!
She brought home the leftover goop and fitted her baby for hearing aids too : )
Hunter came home super excited, he go into the first session of Marimbas...so we get to add that into our schedule. Yay me : ) He had soccer practice tonight and then chilled out and played cars!!

2013 - October 5th
Today we ventured out of the house for Hunter's soccer game....Ella's 1st time out in a week! It was a super nice day out!
Goalie
See the ball way up there, Hunter just kicked it : )
After that we decided to go ahead and head up to GreenBluff Farms to get our apples for our applesauce making!
My little pumpkin : )
Oh and she did have her glasses on...but while sitting at soccer I noticed that her lashes were squished up against her lenses so I took them off to adjust them, only to notice that the screw holding one of the arms on had backed out (but was still in) and they seemed to be bent. So I took them off of her before they totally broke. Hope they can fix them on Monday.
At least one of my kids gave a good smile.
Our apple haul. It's going to make a lot of applesauce and 1 birthday pie!
After we bought our apples we headed over to take a horse pulled hay ride, only to get over there as the lst ride of the day was taking off. Ella was devistated. Luckily the little pony ride right next to it was still open. Poor Hunter was too heavy to ride (I made it up to him later : ) Ella had a blast!
And scared me...

The team we played had neon green shirts and we had neon yellow...it almost hurt to watch this game it was so bright and confusing.

2013 - October 4th
My kids were both home from school...again. Nasty little germ sharers : ) But as of 2pm today Ella is supposedly no longer contagious and noon tomorrow Hunter and I are clear. I still feel like crap but apparently I am the only one. These two needed to be at school today!
Ella told me she was going to write numbers...and that she did "I make a HUGE 5!"
Hunter drew some Halloween decorations...Happy Halloweeny!
And sticking with the Halloween theme Ella brought me this pic and told me that I am going to be a witch for Halloween...apparently that is me on the left, under me is a broom. But it's okay, under the one is an upside down heart and she wrote my name twice : )
Ignore her crazy hair...and the fact that she has on the same jammies as yesterday, mommy doesn't feel well

2013 - October 3rd
Sick sick sick. That is the theme of this household. Hunter woke up with a sore throat and a little bit of a fever and a swollen lymph node after coughing all night. Yep strep. I had an appointment scheduled for today to deal with a sinus infection, my doctor said it definitely looks like strep too but didn't test because she was treating the sinus infection anyway. Fun times. Chris called and got put on antibiotics just in case.
Sick day coloring
Hunter drew a Ds ribbon. So cute.

2013 - October 2nd
Hunter practiced his guitar today and came down to play Ode to Joy for me! AND I even recognized it : ) Chris took him to soccer this evening!!!
I was just sure that Ella was going to go back to school tomorrow, and then at noon her pediatrician's office called. They said "guess what, we know what is wrong with your daughter, it's not just a virus." Apparently Ella's throat culture grew strep. Yuck. The rapid strep test came back negative. It figures that my child with no tonsils and adnoids would get strep. They said 48 hours on antibiotics before heading back to school, so that would put it at 2pm on Friday. Not even a month of school and already missed an entire week. Ugh.
