2013 - August 29th

This morning both kiddos had a dentist appointment. They both did great, got their teeth cleaned and x-rays! Neither of them have cavaties! Yay!!! Hunter does have a pretty chipped tooth that is pretty sensitive and the doctor feels like it needs to be filled....man dental work is expensive! The kids and I did some running around after that, bought some stuff for Ella's Birthday party and got most of their school supplies! (A big thank you to my mom who found the supplies we were missing from Hunter's list!!!!!) After that we came home and headed outside to play!

2013 - August 28th

Today Ella had an appointment with the ENT. He wanted to check her ears one more time and make sure he didn't miss anything before sending us her for hearing aids. I know that he is a very thorough doctor and knew that he wouldn't have missed anything but appreciated him looking. He wants her to get a 2nd opinion about the possibility of needing her ear drum patched, though he believe that if it does get patched it will then need a tube put back in it, and wants us to see the doctor in his practice that specializes in that. Just in case. I'm all about 2nd opinions and such but it will be another month before we see that doctor, and of course I have to pull her out of school early. Oh well. Anyhow, we stopped and visited our friend Mary (aka Riley's mom) at her office after Ella's appointment and then came home to unpack 7 suitcases. Yuck. Luckily my friend Dacia came over to help me....thank goodness!!!! After we got done we went outside with the kids to let Ella play. She was in Heaven!!

One of the girls, Shelby (the one next to Ella,) asked if I would take a picture of the "Scooter Gang," lol! So here they are....or at least the ones that were out at that moment.

Then we added a few more, and Ella traded her scooter in for a trailer.

2013 - August 26th

Today Ella had Birthday Party # 2 at Grandmom and Grandad's house!!!!

Grandmom and Ella baked the Birthday cupcakes!!!

Paige came over when she got out of school! The kids frosted and decorated their own cupcakes!

Then it was present time! Mrs MaryAnn got Ella a Birthday crown and glow in the dark princess wand..

Mommy and Bubba got her some books and a waterbottle....gotta love a kid who says "NO WAY!!!!" in excitement over every little thing!!

Nana got Ella some airplanes from the movie Planes....she was so excited! No WAY!!!!

After presents Hunter practically ran out of the house to get back on his beloved tractor!!!! After he rode around for a bit he got to wash it....while Grandad supervised : )

2013 - August 25th

Today BeBe and Grandad threw Ella a Pool Party for her 7th Birthday! We had a blast!!!!

Ella tried on several occasions to open her presents...without the rest of us, so she was super excited when it was finally present time! Grandad and BeBe got Ella a doll that has very long hair....

to go with her new salon chair! Ella LOVES to play hair salon these days!!! She loves this!

She got a coloring book, some cool crayons and some My Little Ponies from Paige!! She was excited!

Bubba got her a Woody, Jesse and Bullseye

Grandmom and Grandad got her new clothes and a diaper bag ("Mommy Bag") for her new Cabbage Patch doll, and Go Fish, and a little picture frame from the Cabbage Patch Hospital and they put her and baby Lexi Caillou's picture in it! She loved it!

Nana got her an ice cream cone making kit for Playdoh and a Monster's Inc playdoh kit where she can cut their hair!!! She was none to happy when I packed it up tonight. Sorry Ella!!!!
