2013 - November 12th

We had a big meeting at the school to go over Ella's re-evaluations results. It went as well as can be expected. It's really hard to listen to a bunch of people tell you how delayed your child is, but there were a lot of good stories about Ella mixed in there. She has been discharged from physical therapy, scored at age level for adaptive, social/emotional, and behavior and also discharged from articulation because the speech therapist believes that her issues are all related to a lot of missing teeth. LOL. I do think Ella has a good team...for the most part....and as long as the percentages of gen ed vs special ed are what we talked about today then the IEP meeting next week should be good and the rest of the year will be great! Phew.

Ella was excited to wear a new dress this morning : )

Several people commented on what a sweet boy, and great big brother Hunter is during Ella's meeting!  He really is such a great kid! I am a lucky mom!!  I could have fixed the red eyes on Ruby, but I think it's really her evilness shining through!
