2013 - Day 61/62

This year instead of having a birthday party Hunter decided he wanted to go to Silver Mountain for the weekend and invited his friend Rex and Nana to come with us! Because Hunter's Pinewood Derby Car Race (Cubscouts) is the day before his actual birthday we went this weekend! We rented a hotel room, which was super nice and really a shame that we didn't spend much time in it, and spent Saturday and Sunday in the waterpark!

The kids were super excited but were nice enough to cooperate for a picture!!!
Or two!
Weeeeee
Poor Ella.  We were watching the boy's "surf" and she was depressed.  The girl is OBSESSED with surfing...and mermaids thanks to a Barbie surf movie.  But poor Ella is too little to "surf."
Almost their turn!
Hunter body boarding
Rex's first time ever!
Cuddling with her foot......still patiently waiting.

Chris did it a couple of times too!
I didn't take too many pictures at the waterpark....all of those pics were in the first 30 minutes or so but I locked my camera up in a locker so it would be safe!   When we got done at the waterpark we changed into dry clothes and went to dinner.  After dinner we rested our bellies for a bit and then headed down to the fire pit for Birthday smores!!!  Unfortunatly it was raining but that didn't stop us!!!

Our marshmallows were....weird.  They were all stuck together in the bag, so that in combination with the rain made for some interesting smores.  But the kids thought they were great and ate 3 a piece : )

If you look REALLY close you will see 2 white spots on Nana's chin.....marshmallow!!!!  Ha ha ha ha ha!!!
I don't care for this picture of me but after our shower Ella was SO excited that we were "twins" with our hair wrapped in towels so I had to get a picture!!
Sunday!

The boys stayed up late and got up early.....REALLY early!  After the rest of us got up and the boys ate, what else but, smores poptarts we checked out of the hotel and went back to the waterpark!

Playing water basketball
Going across the lily pads

Ella of course had to do what the boys were doing, only it was MUCH harder for her!

But she did it.....over and over and over and over again!
The boys waiting in line for the FloRider again

Daddy and Ella coming out of the family raft ride.  Ella loved that ride!
The boys finally got their turn
Falling and getting washed up to the top

Rex's turn : )
Wipeout!
We had a GREAT time!  It was a fun birthday weekend and Hunter invited the perfect friend!  Ella was sure happy that Rex came too....and was sure to cuddle up to him and tell him that she loves him several times!  Thankfully Rex is used to having a little sibling around with a very similar personality, Riley, and was super sweet to Ella!!!  We had very tired kids on our hands when we got back into to town tonight, hopefully they will sleep good!!!
