2013 - Day 80
Happy World Down Syndrome Day!!!!
Today I read the story My Friend Isabelle to Ella's Kindergarten class. It's the story of a boy and his friend, Isabelle, who has Down syndrome. It's a cute story! We had a great conversation about how sometimes there are things about us that are different but we are all mostly the same, they really got into to saying everything about them that was the same! The kids were pretty hilarious with their questions after the story. Gotta love 5 and 6 year olds!

Bubba wore his My Sister Ella has Down Syndrome shirt to school today! I love that he likes to be involved in it too!!
The cupcakes. Yay, Walmart got them right, lol! We can only bring store bought items to school and I was slightly worried they would be the wrong colors : )
