2013 - Day 75

Hunter still didn't feel great today, not horrible but you know when he doesn't ask to go outside and play and lays around playing cars all day that he doesn't feel well. Poor bug. Hopefully after resting all day he will be good as new tomorrow!!!

Ella's special ed teacher sent home these little hands with some of her sight words on them.  She said the whole class uses them and the teachers have them hung up in common use areas of the room, they call them "high five words." The teacher said they are really good for kids like Ella who are visual learners as well as kinesthetic learners (learns things while doing a physical activity) which is how Ella learns best!  They are totally working. I hung up 14 words yesterday and she knows them all already! Everytime she passes by them she gives the hand a high five and reads the word....and drags me around to all of them several times a day!  I'm so proud!  I think I will be cutting out more hands tomorrow!!!
