Day 142

Tuesday's are by far our busiest day. I run Hunter to school, drive across the Valley to take Ella to school, go back across the Valley and volunteer in Hunter's class, leave there drive back across the Valley to pick Ella up. Drive back across the Valley to the house for a super quick lunch and then we head to ballet class. Then home and then t-ball. Why is it that everything seems to happen at the end of the school year. Looking at the calendar we have something every single school night for the remainder of the school year (June 15th,) and of course baseball on Saturday's. We haven't been getting home until between 7:30 and 8 (sometimes later) everynight and the kids are supposed to be in bed at 8 but we have to eat dinner and shower etc. So today...ballet class started off well enough
Practicing her princess smile for the recital
But ended up pretty much like this.....Ella decided to just not listen for a good 30 minutes of class. As in completely ignoring my snaps and death glares that have been so successful in the last couple of classes.
I prayed that it would start pouring rain, for a thunderstorm, anything to cancel tonights t-ball practice. No such luck, instead we went and played in the chilly wind. Luckily though Ella did pretty darn good. For the first time ever a bribe has actually worked..I promised her a Girl Scout cookie for good behavior (not something I like to barter with with that kid but desperate times call for desperate measures,) and wouldn't ya know if she started acting up I would say "uh-oh, looks like someone doesn't want their cookie," and she would snap to attention. It was glorious : ) Here she is in the ready stance!
Throwing the ball
Hunter was chilly and not impressed with me when I started taking his picture.
The dog, likewise, was in no mood to get her picture taken today. LOL!!! I was trying to take a pic of her new harness that finally came in, as she outgrew her last one, but this one is too big (she gets out of it on her own) so back it goes for a smaller one!
