2013 - September 13th

Ella had a little issue coming in from recess yesterday...her teacher had to tell her 3 times it was time to go in. I happened to witness it (as it was the end of the day and I was waiting in the parking lot) so I asked the teacher if there was an issue, otherwise I don't think she would have mentioned it. Anyhow, Ella wrote a letter to her teacher yesterday that said she was sorry and she would listen the 1st time! Today Ella came home so excited because she got a prize from the treasure chest for "being good lisner today!" This little paper set made her day, and that made mine!

Hunter had a good day too! He excitedly told me that in school today his teacher had them make drivers licenses and then they had to search through used car sale magazines and "buy" a car that was over $10,000. He picked an 07 Toyota Tundra : ) Then they got to write checks from the "Kids Bank" and got to fill it all in. This teacher totally won Hunter over today!!!  After school Hunter started back up with guitar lessons and is happy to be back at it.  Then he played outside....of course!

His little friend Madison (right) is in his class this year. She somehow figured out how to print off a bunch of the Kids Bank checks...so they were having a car sell in our yard : )
